Window Tint
Iowa Code § 321.438 — no windshield or front side window too dark to see into
- No one may drive with a windshield or windows that do not permit clear vision.
- The windshield, and the side windows to the immediate right and left of the driver, may not be so dark or reflective that it is difficult to see into the vehicle.
- The department sets the minimum measurable transparency by rule.
- Law enforcement vehicles on official duty are excepted.
