Harassment
KRS 525.070 — physical contact, threats, following or repeated acts meant to harass or alarm
- With intent to intimidate, harass, annoy or alarm: striking, shoving or kicking someone, or attempting or threatening to.
- Making offensively coarse utterances or gestures, or abusive language, to a person in a public place.
- Following a person in public, or repeatedly committing acts that alarm or seriously annoy with no legitimate purpose.
Harassment is a violation, and a Class B misdemeanor when it involves physical contact. Communicating by phone, mail or electronic means to harass, with no legitimate purpose, is harassing communications, a Class B misdemeanor.
