Jury Duty and the Job
KRS 29A.160 — no firing or threats for a jury summons, and 90 days to sue
An employer may not take away, threaten or coerce an employee's job because the employee receives a jury summons, responds to it, serves as a juror, or attends court for jury service.
An employee discharged for it may sue within 90 days for lost wages and reinstatement with full seniority and benefits, and recovers a reasonable attorney's fee on winning.
