Pedestrians in the Road
KRS 189.570 — yielding to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, and no passing a car stopped for one
- Where there are no traffic signals in operation, a driver yields to a pedestrian crossing the roadway, slowing or stopping if needed.
- When a vehicle is stopped at a crosswalk to let a pedestrian cross, a driver coming from behind does not pass it.
- A pedestrian crossing outside a marked crosswalk, or an unmarked one at an intersection, yields to vehicles.
