Resisting Arrest
KRS 520.090 — force, threats or a risk of injury to keep an officer from an arrest, a Class A misdemeanor
A person resists arrest by intentionally preventing, or trying to prevent, a peace officer recognized to be acting under official authority from arresting the person or another, by using or threatening physical force or violence, or by any other means creating a substantial risk of physical injury.
Resisting arrest is a Class A misdemeanor.
