Strangulation
KRS 508.170 — impeding breathing by pressure on the throat or blocking the nose and mouth
- Without consent, impeding another's normal breathing or blood circulation by pressure on the throat or neck, or by blocking the nose or mouth.
- Done intentionally, it is strangulation in the first degree, a Class C felony.
- Done wantonly, it is strangulation in the second degree, a Class D felony.
