Door To Door Sales

Minn. Stat. 325G.07 — cancel until midnight of the third business day

Until midnight of the third business day. A buyer may cancel a home solicitation sale until midnight of the third business day after the sale, by written notice to the seller at the address in the agreement. A mailed notice is effective when deposited, properly addressed and stamped, and any written expression of intent not to be bound is enough.

Email

At the sale, the seller tells the buyer orally of the right to cancel and gives a completed receipt or contract stating it in boldface, with a detachable notice of cancellation form in duplicate. The form states that payments, trade-ins and any instrument signed will be returned within ten business days after the seller receives the notice.
