Under 21 With Alcohol

Mo. Rev. Stat. § 311.325 — buying, possessing or being visibly intoxicated under 21

A Missouri resident or visitor under twenty one who buys or tries to buy intoxicating liquor, has it in their possession, is visibly intoxicated, or has a blood alcohol content over two hundredths of one percent commits a misdemeanor: class D for a first violation, class A for a second or later.

A factory sealed container labeled as intoxicating liquor need not be opened or tested to prove what it is. A college culinary student at least eighteen may taste, but not drink, as part of required coursework under an instructor's control.
