Peace Disturbance

Mo. Rev. Stat. § 574.010 — a class B misdemeanor first, class A after

  • Unreasonably and knowingly disturbing or alarming others by loud noise, fighting, a noxious odor, or a threat to commit a felony likely to be believed.
  • Offensive language said face to face to a specific person in circumstances likely to provoke an immediate violent response.
  • In a public place, or on someone's private property without consent, purposely and unreasonably blocking vehicle or foot traffic or the way in or out of a place.

Class B misdemeanor. Each is peace disturbance in Missouri, a class B misdemeanor for a first conviction and a class A misdemeanor after that. A third or later conviction also carries a fine of one thousand to five thousand dollars.
