License, insurance, thirty. The operator has a valid Class O license or a farm permit, carries liability insurance while on a highway, and does not exceed thirty miles per hour. Proof of insurance goes to an officer within five days of a request.

Headlight and taillight are on, and a triangular day-glow safety flag rises not less than five feet above the ground at the rear.

No all-terrain or utility-type vehicle is operated on a controlled-access highway with more than two marked lanes.

Crossing a highway is allowed at a complete stop, yielding to oncoming traffic. A particular trip is a question for a licensed Nebraska attorney.
