The Last Hundred Feet
NRS 484B.413 — a turn signal for the last 100 feet in town and 300 feet elsewhere, and a signal before stopping
100 feet, or 300. A Nevada driver signals an intention to turn right or left, or otherwise leave a direct course, continuously for not less than the last 100 feet traveled in a business or residential district, and not less than the last 300 feet anywhere else, whatever the weather.
No turn is made until it can be made with reasonable safety, after a signal if another vehicle may be affected, and after sounding the horn clearly if a pedestrian may be affected.
A driver does not stop or suddenly slow without first giving an appropriate signal to the driver of any vehicle immediately behind.
How the signal is given, by hand and arm or by lamp, is in other sections not reproduced here. Whether a particular signal was given in time is a question for a court and a licensed Nevada attorney.
