13 V.S.A. § 4003 — the carrying offense turns on intent to injure another
The weapons chapter's carrying offense is carrying a dangerous or deadly weapon with the intent to injure another. It carries up to two years and $2,000, and becomes a felony of up to 10 years and $25,000 when the intent is to injure multiple people.
