Spousal Maintenance

15 V.S.A. § 752 — rehabilitative or long term maintenance when a spouse cannot meet reasonable needs

The court may order either spouse to pay maintenance, rehabilitative or long term, if the spouse asking lacks enough income or property to meet reasonable needs and cannot support themselves at the marital standard of living, or has custody of a child of the parties.
