Threatening a Witness
13 V.S.A. § 3015 — obstruction of justice, up to five years and $5,000
- Corruptly, or by threats or force, intimidating or impeding a witness, a juror, or an officer of a court or agency in a contested case is obstruction of justice.
- So is injuring that person, or damaging their property, because of their part in a matter heard, being heard, or to be heard.
- So is any corrupt or threatening effort to obstruct the due administration of justice.
- It carries up to five years and $5,000.
