- Self DefenseLa. R.S. 14:20 — no duty to retreat for a person lawfully where he has a right to be
- A Temporary Carry PermitLa. R.S. 40:1379.3.2 — a person protected by an order barring the abuser from guns may get a 45 day permit before training
