- After three attempts to repair the same serious defect, or one attempt for a defect likely to cause death or serious injury, the consumer may notify the manufacturer by certified or registered mail or overnight service.
- Within ten days, the manufacturer arranges a final repair at a reasonably accessible facility, and within ten days after delivery conforms the vehicle to the warranty.
- If the vehicle still is not conformed after a reasonable number of attempts, the manufacturer replaces it or repurchases it, less a reasonable offset for use.
